On March 31, FEMA issued a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in West Virginia as a result of a severe winter storm, flooding, landslides and mudslides March 3-6.  The following areas are eligible for public assistance:

  • Barbour, Boone, Braxton, Cabell, Doddridge, Gilmer, Harrison, Jackson, Kanawha, Lewis, Lincoln, Logan, Marshall, McDowell, Mingo, Monongalia, Putnam, Raleigh, Ritchie, Roane, Summers, Tyler, Upshur, Wayne, Webster, Wetzel, Wirt, Wood and Wyoming Counties

Updated 5/8: On May 8, FEMA issued an update to a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in Tennessee as a result of a severe winter storm and flooding February 15-22.  Nine additional counties are eligible for public assistance:
