FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – West Virginia Severe Storms and Flooding

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of West Virginia to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms and flooding from August 14-18, 2026.  The following counties have been approved for assistance:

Individual Assistance:

  • Fayette
  • Harrison
  • Kanawha
