FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – Hawaii Hurricane Lala

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of Hawaii to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by Hurricane Lala from August 14-16, 2026.  The following counties have been approved for assistance:

Public Assistance:

  • Hawaii
  • Honolulu
  • Kalawao
  • Maui
