FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of West Virginia to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms from July 21-22, 2026.  The following counties have been approved for assistance:

  • Lewis
  • Pleasants
  • Ritchie
  • Upshur
