FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – South Dakota Straight-line Winds

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of South Dakota to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by straight-line winds from December 17-18, 2025.  The following counties have been approved for assistance:

 

Public Assistance:

  • Custer
  • Fall River
  • Pennington
