FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of North Dakota to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes from June 7-9, 2026. The following counties have been approved for assistance:

- Burke
- Divide
- McLean
- Mercer
- Oliver
- Williams
