FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – North Dakota Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, and Tornadoes

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of North Dakota to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes from June 7-9, 2026.  The following counties have been approved for assistance:

Public Assistance:

  • Bottineau
  • Burke
  • Divide
  • McLean
  • Mercer
  • Oliver
  • Williams
