FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – Iowa Severe Storms and Flooding

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of Iowa to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms and flooding from July 1-4, 2026. The following counties have been approved for assistance:

- Jasper
- Polk
- Story
- Warren
