FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of Illinois to supplement state, tribal, and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds, and flooding from July 13-16, 2024. The following counties have been approved for assistance:

- Fulton
- Henry
- St. Clair
- Washington
- Will
- Winnebago
