FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – Idaho Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of Idaho to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides, and mudslides from March 11-15, 2026.  The following counties have been approved for assistance:

Public Assistance:

  • Benewah
  • Bonner
  • Clearwater
  • Kootenai
  • Latah
  • Nez Perce
