FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – Alaska Severe Storm, Flooding, and Landslides

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of Alaska to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in areas affected by severe storms, flooding and landslides from September 15-20, 2022.  The following areas have been approved for assistance:

Public Assistance:

  • Bering Straight Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Kashunamiut Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Lower Kuskokwim Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Lower Yukon Regional Educational Attendance Area
