FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – Alaska Flooding

FEMA has issued a Major Disaster Declaration for areas of the state of Alaska to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by flooding from May 12 – June 3, 2023. The following areas has been approved for assistance:
Individual Assistance:
- Copper River Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Kuspuk Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Lower Kuskokwim Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Lower Yukon Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Yukon Flats Regional Education Attendance Area
- Yupiit Regional Educational Attendance Area
Public Assistance:
- Bering Straight Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Copper River Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Iditarod Area Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Kuspuk Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Lower Yukon Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Yukon Flats Regional Educational Attendance Area
- Yukon-Koyukuk (Census Area)
