FEMA issued a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in North Dakota affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic beginning on January 20, 2020 and continuing.
Areas approved for Public Assistance: 53 Counties (Statewide)
Please be advised of the following tribal areas eligible for Public Assistance:
- Fort Berthold Indian Reservation (Dunn, McKenzie, McLean, Mercer, Mountrail, Ward Counties)
- Lake Traverse Sisseton Indian Reservation (Richland, Sargent, Counties)
- Spirit Lake Reservation (Benson, Eddy, Nelson, Ramsey, Wells Counties)
- Standing Rock Sioux Tribe of North & South Dakota (Sioux County)
- Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation (Rolette, Williams Counties)
