Locks for each entrance door, rear door, including all doors on 1st floor and basement should be changed using a standard lockset. Use a Kwikset Master Lock key code 67767. Where a lockset is not practical, use Master Padlock A389. Mortgagees may use bracing to secure other doors leading to the exterior as needed. Specifically, bracing should be used only when exterior doors cannot be otherwise secured from the interior. If you have questions about when to employ bracing contact the M&M contractor.
Swimming Pools:
Replace any damaged or missing boards or sections of fence. Remove all trash from interior of pool. As necessary, build frame and cover pool with appropriate decking or wire mesh in accordance and in compliance with state and local codes. Mortgagees do not need prior approval to secure pools.
Mortgagees must obtain prior approval from the M&M contractor prior to re-securing a property.
Use of screws, including basement windows, to secure boards is prohibited except when securing casement or other fixed type windows. Written justification must be supplied when a method other than bolt boarding is used. 1/2-inch plywood is to be used with light holes cut in medium to large size boards. Boards are not to be pierced or overlap each other. Use 2-inch sheet rock screws every 6 inches. Boards are to be cut to fit within ¾ inch of the opening. Do not overlap wood or cover side bricks.
