USDA: Handbook Updates: Loss Claim and Loss Mitigation

The USDA published new 3555 Handbook chapters in response to a final rule (effective April 24) that will streamline the loss claim process for lenders who have acquired title to property through voluntary liquidation or foreclosure and better align loss mitigation policies with the mortgage industry.
