FEMA issued a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in Washington as a result of wildfires and mudslides that took place August 9 to September 10. The following counties and tribal area are eligible for assistance:

- Ferry
- Lincoln
- Okanogan
- Pend Oreille
- Stevens
- Whatcom
- Yakima
- Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (Chelan County: ZIP Codes 98801 and 98807; Ferry County: ZIP Codes 99138, 99140 and 99155; Okanogan County: ZIP Codes 98840, 98841, 99116 and 99124)
