FEMA Declared Disaster Area South Dakota
On November 8, FEMA issued a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in South Dakota as a result of a severe winter storm, snowstorm, and flooding October 3-16. The following counties and tribal areas are eligible for public assistance:
- Butte, Corson, Custer, Dewey, Fall River, Haakon, Harding, Jackson, Lawrence, Meade, Pennington, Perkins, Shannon, and Ziebach
- Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of the Cheyenne River Reservation within Dewey and Ziebach counties and the Oglala Sioux Tribe within Jackson and Shannon counties
