On March 31, FEMA issued a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in North Carolina as a result of a severe winter storm March 6-7. The following counties are eligible for public assistance:
- Alamance, Caswell, Davidson, Davie, Granville, Guilford, Orange, Person, and Randolph
