National Coastal County ZIP Code Resource
It is possible to provide a visual representation of a weather event's “cone” and potential impacts. Typically, the greatest impacts are felt within coastal areas.
In response, Safeguard has compiled a national "coastal shoreline county" ZIP Code list as determined by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
MBA Releases Disaster Recovery Guide
The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has created Disaster Recovery: A Resource for Homeowners. This consumer-facing informational guide outlines homeowner disaster preparedness and steps to recovery, including who to engage for individual mortgage communication, how to navigate the insurance process, and what forms of aid and disaster loans are generally available.
