Memo 5022 - Insurance Loss Inspections to be Completed on INSPI2
To: All Insurance Loss Inspectors
From: Jennifer Jozity, Department Manager

As you are aware, Safeguard created the INSPI2 program for our inspectors. This program is an enhancement from its predecessor, INSPI. With INSPI2 we have much more flexibility to program new questions and answers and provide more detail to our inspectors. This flexibility has paved the way for us to now send your Insurance Loss inspections to the INSPI2 program.

Beginning Monday, November 7, 2005 all of your Insurance Loss inspections will be sent to the INSPI2 program with your field inspection orders. Results of the inspection need to be entered into the INSPI2 program and transmitted to Safeguard throughout the day, just as with field inspections. All Insurance Loss inspections are photo required and photos can be attached in the same manner you currently follow for field inspections.

The questions you will be required to answer have not changed. Additionally, you will still need to take the paper form of questions and fill it out for the mortgagor to sign. The signed form will need to be scanned and sent to Safeguard as a photo.

We feel that this change will streamline the current process for both the inspector and Safeguard. You will no longer have two work orders created; only one IL work code on INSPI2.

This is just the start of some exciting programming for Insurance Loss inspections on INSPI2. In the future we plan to give you the ability to have the mortgagor sign the pocket pc screen, thus eliminating the need for paper or scanning of the signature form.

If you have questions regarding this change, please contact Jennifer Jozity, Department Manager (jennifer.jozity@safeguardproperties.com) at ext. 1115. For technical assistance, please call our IT Help Desk at ext. 3999.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
