Memo 1102 Chase Eviction State Notification
We have recently made some changes to Chase orders in Michigan, Louisiana, and Colorado, pursuant to eviction laws in those particular states. Effective immediately, please follow the procedures below whenever you receive a Chase initial secure or convey work order.
On all pre-sale and post-sale initial secure orders for eviction states (MI, LA and CO)
***** SPECIAL PERSONALS INSTRUCTIONS *****
* If occupancy status cannot be determined, DO NO WORK .
* Prior to proceeding with the work order, you must verify if any personals are visible. This includes looking in the windows for interior personals.
* If personals are present, DO NO WORK. If you have already gained access and then find personals inside the property, proceed with the lock change on the rear door only and do no further work.
In addition to the procedures above, additional requirements in all states for initial secure and convey orders will be highlighted in a separate memo.
