Memo 1114 REO Updates Contractor Web Enhancements 4-21-05

Please be advised we will be implementing new programming changes on the contractor website.  This release contains changes to obtain additional information on work orders for REO properties.  These details have been specifically requested by our clients.

There will be four new questions on all scripted REO orders:
1.  Is a For Sale sign posted?  This will be a Yes/No answer, no additional information will be required.
2.  Was a lockbox present upon arrival?  If you answer Yes, you will need to advise if it is operable and the combination it is set to.
3.  Any new debris?  This question will only appear if you state the trashout was previously completed.  If you answer Yes, it will allow you to enter a bid for the new debris.
4.  Is the property in marketable condition?   If you answer No, you will be required to enter a reason why and will be required to report all damages and/or submit all bids that are keeping the property from being in marketable condition, if not previously entered on that order, in order to complete the update.

If you need additional clarification on any of the above information, please contact your Regional Open Order Coordinator.  If you experience any technical problems, please contact the help desk at ext. 3999.  Please continue to submit feedback to our Research & Development Department (rd@safeguardproperties.com), as the enhancements to our website are based on the information we receive from you as well as our clients' requests and industry changes.

We thank you for your cooperation with regard to these new enhancements.
