MEMO #1070 High Vandalism Area Identification

To: All SPI Contractors
From: Vendor Management

As you may be aware, we have recently begun to focus and direct our attention to the issue of the maintaining properties located in areas of high vandalism.  In most cases work performed on these properties must be repeated multiple times due to recurring damage and theft.  In addition, our clients are expending money to repair properties in areas that do not justify the repairs, as any repairs completed will most probably be vandalized again.

It is our responsibility to provide our clients with detailed information to enable the client to make an informed decision when determining a course of action to be taken at a property.

If you observe that a property is located in a high vandalism area, this information must be provided on your update to Safeguard.  This notification must be accompanied by a description of the area and instruction that we should flag this property as a High Risk Vandal Area. This information will in turn be provided to our clients.

If you have questions regarding the update procedure to be followed, please contact your Regional Coordinator or vendor.management@safeguardproperties.com

We thank you for your help as we work together to Safeguard our clients' interests.
