Memo 1099 Contractor Web Enhancements 12/07/04
We are once again implementing new programming changes on the contractor website. We will now begin scripting selected REO work orders on the web. Since the parameters for REO orders are significantly different than those for P&P orders, several aspects of the standard P&P script have been modified. The following is a summary of those changes:
1. "Any Debris Reported?" will no longer be an option. This question has been replaced with the question "Was Trashout/Maid Service Completed?" You can bid to perform the trashout, if necessary, by answering "no" to this question. Please note that if you do not complete the trashout, a bid is optional , but an explanation as to why the trashout was not completed will be required.
2. There is now a separate question for reporting personals. If personals are present you will be required to submit a bid to remove and store the personals, including a description and approximate value of the items to be removed .
3. We have added the question, "Was Broker Contacted?" to all work orders. If contact was not made, the appropriate reason must be selected to explain why there was no contact with the broker .
4. Invoices for REO orders will not be automatically generated at this time. You will need to input all invoice information at the end of the script.
If you need additional clarification of any of the above information, please contact your Regional Open Order Coordinator. Please continue to submit feedback about our website to our Research & Development Department ( Tracy.Puzder@safeguardproperties.com or Kathy.Cogan@safeguardproperties.com ). Your comments play an important part in determining future projects for our system.
We thank you for your cooperation with regard to this new initiative.
