MEMO # 1063 Contractor Manuals
We at Safeguard Properties, Inc. value communication with our contractors. Our contractors must know what is expected by our clients and the investor/insurers when it comes to performing Field Inspections, Property Preservation, Evictions, Hazard Claims, and REO work. In an effort to increase our contractors' awareness of SPI's policies and procedures, we have updated our Contractor and Field Inspector Procedures Manuals and have attached the updated versions for your review. Please note that we frequently make updates to these manuals, and new versions of both manuals are always available to you.
The current Contractor Procedures Manual is available for viewing or printing on our web site at
http://contractors.safeguardproperties.com:8080/property/
When you log onto the contractor web site, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for "Procedures Manual (PDF)." Vendor Management encourages you to print out the Contractor Procedures Manual at least once per month to ensure that you are always referencing the most up-to-date version. We will also send out a notification when changes are made.
The Field Inspection Procedures Manual is not yet available online. When changes are made to the manual, we will send them out by e-mail to all active vendors. We are working on making this manual accessible via our INSPI program.
If you have any questions about the content of either of the manuals, please call your regional coordinator. If the regional coordinator cannot provide clarification, please direct your inquiry to a supervisor or manager.
