MEMO # 1047 Various Bids
As part of their efforts to contain costs, our clients, HUD and the other investors, require that mortgage field services providers submit sufficient information with the bids to allow HUD/Investors to weigh all available options before granting bid approval.
As advised in privies memos and conference calls, it is our responsibility and obligation to submit to the client proof and documentation that our bids are accurate and reflect the actual cost to perform the work.
All photo documentation reflecting the issues addressed in the bid, must be submitted at the same time the bid is sent.
Please note the following specific bid requirements:
1. When bidding a refrigerator found inside home, the bid must include a bid to clean and bid to remove.
2. When bidding broken windows, the bid must include a bid to board and bid to reglaze the window.
3. When bidding roof repairs, the bid must include a bid to patch and bid to tarp. If bidding to replace a roof, we must provide an explanation and documentation (photo) why the roof cannot be patched or tarped.
