#1011: Winterization Procedures - 9/26/02
As you
know, in order to obtain maximum reimbursement for costs expended
on property preservation, our clients must be able to document
perfect compliance with the guidelines. We have recently received
photos from some winterizations that do not document proper
tagging of winterized properties. It is very important that
you follow all applicable guidelines and perform winterizations
in compliance with the requirements. This includes tagging
all items that are winterized and providing photos that demonstrate
that the tags are in place.
Please
also assure that you are using only non-toxic antifreeze in
the performance of winterizations.
