MEMO
#1019: Safeguard High Risk Unit - 11/11/02
Safeguard
is in the process of establishing a High Risk Unit to better
satisfy our clients' need to protect and preserve properties
in high risk situations. This unit will operate under the
supervision of Steve Meyer, our Hazard Claims Director.
We have
defined High Risk Properties as those with damages that will
worsen if corrective action is not taken (i.e., properties
with fire, water, roof, mold, or structural damage), those
posted for violation (e.g., demolition, citations, city violations),
and possibly those in fast-track zip codes.
Follow-up
on orders at a high risk property will be prioritized until
the property is no longer classified as high risk or is conveyed
to the insurer/investors. Our clients are excited about this
new unit, as it will enable us to better safeguard their interests.
We will
provide you with additional information regarding High Risk
Properties and the High Risk Unit when our procedures are
established and in place.
Thank
you for your continued support and cooperation.
From the
Holy Land, Israel.
