On May 21, FEMA issued a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in West Virginia as a result of severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides April 13-15. The following counties are eligible for public assistance:
- Cabell, Calhoun, Greenbrier, Jackson, Pleasants, Roane, Summers and Wirt
