FEMA issued a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration for areas in Nevada as a result of severe winter storms, flooding and mudslides that took place February 5-22, 2017. The following counties and tribal areas are eligible for assistance:

Public Assistance

  • Carson City (independent city)
  • Douglas
  • Elko
  • Humboldt
  • Washoe 

  • South Fork Band of Te-Moak Tribe of Western Shoshone (Elko County)
  • Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California (Carson City, Douglas County)
