Hurricane Sandy Severe Weather Alert
Update: On October 30, FEMA issued emergency declarations for New Hamshire, Virginia and West Virginia as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
On October 29, Hurricane Sandy is approaching the eastern seaboard and should make landfall in New Jersey by Monday evening. The projected path begins on the coast of North Carolina and may travel as far north as Massachusetts.
As of Monday morning, FEMA has issued emergency declarations for the following states:
- Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
Please note these areas have not yet been declared a Presidential Disaster Area.
